Course: Implementation of processes for the agroecological transition
Within the framework of the FAO-SENA alliance, the Sembrando Capacities project carried out this course that presents a conceptual approach to agroecology within the framework of Peasant, Family and Community Agriculture (ACFC); This seeks to strengthen technical capacities to understand and incorporate the agroecological approach in the formulation and implementation of policies and rural development projects and to understand the potential offered by agroecology to move towards fair and sustainable agri-food systems.

Virtual course: Innovation and sustainability in family farming
Through the alliance with the Farmers Organizations of African, Caribbean and Pacific Countries (FO4ACP) program and the FAO Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean, the Sembrando Capacities project developed this course to publicize how From family farming, innovative solutions have been put into practice to transform food systems towards sustainability. In addition, through a series of case studies and experiences from Brazil, Colombia and other countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, the application of these concepts in programs and projects aimed at family farmers will be facilitated.

Through the alliance with the Farmers’ Organizations of African, Caribbean and Pacific countries (FO4ACP) program and the FAO Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean, the Sembrando Capacities project developed this course that seeks to publicize why short marketing circuits become a tool for the inclusion of family farming in the markets. In addition, through a series of case studies and experiences from Brazil, Colombia and other countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, the application of these concepts in programs and projects aimed at family farmers will be facilitated.
